横沢ローラ、牧野容也による二人組ユニット、マロゥ初のEP。
心に雨がふったら、ちょっとした雨やどりの気分で聴いていただき、
出先でちょっと雨が降ったら手ぬぐいをかぶって雨に濡れないようにしたり、濡れちゃったところを拭いたりしてもらえたら嬉しいです。
2つの声のハーモニーとギターで、クリックも使わず一発録音で2人で仕上げた曲にゲストミュージシャン、カナミネケイタロウ(Ba)、松田礼央(Per)らが参加し、ホームスタジオの生録音な音で出来上がった、「日常」をコンセプトとするMALLOWの最初のアルバム。アルバムタイトル「雨宿り」らしく、日々のバタバタも、その合間のリラックスも全部日常によりそって描く、普通の人たちのお話し。

The first EP by MALLOW, the duo project of Laura Yokozawa and Masaya Makino.
This special edition includes an original hand towel, CD, and lyric booklet.
We hope that when it rains in your heart, you can listen to this music as if taking a small shelter from the rain.
And if it happens to rain while you’re out somewhere, we’d be happy if you use the hand towel to cover yourself from the rain, or to wipe away the drops after getting wet.
Built around the harmony of two voices and guitar, the songs were recorded live in single takes without a click track, capturing the natural atmosphere of the two musicians performing together. Guest musicians including Keitaro Kanamine (bass) and Reo Matsuda (percussion) joined the sessions, resulting in a warmly organic sound recorded in a home studio environment.
As suggested by the title Amayadori (“Sheltering from the Rain”), MALLOW’s first album centers on everyday life — the busy moments, the quiet moments in between, and ordinary people simply living through them.
